Cinelli Gazzetta Classic Custom Build

posted by Jason on 2010.06.22 , under Bike Porn, Cinelli, Fixed Gear, Photography

We just finished building up a custom Cinelli Gazzetta for Charles. I think he is gonna be pretty excited. I worked closely with Charles to make sure every part was up to snuff and I think the results speak for themselves.

White industries SS Free wheel + no brakes?

Charles is bringing in some vintage campy record brakes and a set of pedals when he picks the bike up, don’t worry it’s not a brakeless single speed

What kind of wheels are those? What did this custom cost in the end?

The wheels are Mavic Open Pro to our sealed bearing Superb Hubs, if memory serves me right I believe this build was a little over 2K

does the Gazzetta accept a rear brake??? I contacted Cinelli and they said it did not…I really want to build up a Gazzetta but only as a singlespeed….which requires Rear & Front brake.

Sweet ride! I’m building up a gazetta now with the campy record crankset. What BB did you all use, and what would you suggest for good durability? What gear ratio did you set up?

Re: Jason, The version of the gazetta I got accepts a rear break and has no bosses.

What kind of stem is that? I just got this same frame and I don’t like regular threadless stems but I really like this one. Would you mind letting me know what breand it is?

If you don’t mind posting, I would also like to know what stem that is. It s pretty nice.
