Bike for Sale: Customized by 3RRR

Nao from 3RRR and Tomii Cycles brought in this great city bike to sell on consignment. He built it up for his wife but it ended up not being small enough (even though it is a 45cm) so he is going to be building her a custom frame instead. He put a lot of great details on this bike and it would make someone a wonderful commuter or around town bike. Asking price is $1200, much less than he has in the bike and it is in basically like new condition.  Should fit some one who is between 4’11″ and 5’5″.  Stop by the shop to check it out.

Fat Chance: Yo Eddy Race Bike!

We have an amazing Vintage Fat Chance Race Bike for sale in the shop. This one of a kind bike was built custom for Heidi back in 1990. Heidi was on the Fat City Race team and is also the founder of NEMBA. WOW!! She decided it is time to let this one move on, so now is your chance to own a piece of cycling history! This beautiful Somerville, MA built bike comes with a full prototype Campagnolo Mountain groupo. This was before Campy ever released their short lived Euclid Mountain Group and would be a great investment in itself. Add to that all the small custom details to this bike, like the snake wrapping around the brake noodle on the stem and the many dinosaur logos and you have yourself one very awesome collectors item! The frame measures 17″ center to top on the seat tube and 21.75″ top tube effective. We are asking $2000 but will consider all offers.

In store currently we have on consignment, Chris Igleheart’s custom 3 speed fixed gear bicycle. You may wonder what the hell is a 3 speed fixed gear? Sturmey Archer developed this internal fixed gear hub  and actually had Igleheart build up a bicycle inspired by it. The mechanisms are all the same as a traditional internal hub and you can even throw on a different cog to convert it into a coasting 3 speed. Igleheart’s vision of this 3 speed fixed gear comes with cruiser bars, a set of Paul cantilever breaks, a front rack, IRD classic crankset, Brooks leather saddle, and all the eyelets in the world for you to mount whatever your heart desires on this bike. Bianchi Pista Dalmine

The 2012 Bianchi line is starting to show up at the shop. The first new model we have is the Bianchi Pista Dalmine.  The Pista Dalmine is a aluminum fixed gear or single speed bike with an aero carbon fork and front and rear brakes.  Would make a great “Go Fast” bike or lightweight commuter.  You could even remove the brakes and throw on some track drops and take it to the Velodrome.  Price is $999, stop by and check it out!

This Simoncini has Campagnolo Record Components and Gipiemme wheels which are a direct copy of the Campagnolo Shamal and we think these were even made for Gipiemme by Campagnolo.
