New Stock: Cadence Collection

We just got in a new shipment of the Cadence Collection today. We have in a run of the Reverse Raw Denim to add to our stock of their Raw Denim. Well design and thought out jeans with reinforced crotch area and tailoring to avoid the term “crack kills”. New Established gloves, looking mean in all black with specifically placed grip details for levers and bars. The Blue Block 5 panel cap for the stylish. And last but not least we have the ever so popular Bound Double Straps. We can’t keep these in stock and for the price it’s obvious. They are suede with reinforced lamination to keep from stretching. Superb Caps for Sale @ Blue Lug Japan

Blue Lug picked up some of our caps when they visited our shop a couple weeks ago and they are selling so well that they are ordering a bunch more.  I guess we are “Big in Japan“! If you don’t live in Japan you can grab one from our online store!



Superb Limited Edition Embroidered 6 Panel Caps

If you have been around the shop the last few months you might have seen some of the employees sporting (testing) some of the prototype Superb Caps.  We really dialed in the design and fit and couldn’t be happier with the result.  This cap is different than a basic cotton cycling cap but still retains a similar cycling style and functionality. It is actually more similar to a fitted style cap in fabric and construction but with a cyclist cap cut and short brim giving it a great look and feel.  Our new caps feature 6 panel construction and have a flex fit head band for a nice comfortable fit.  Available now in our shop or in the online store.

We just got in our restock of hand tailored Outlier cycling caps in suit and waxed cotton fabric. The suit fabric caps come in black and gray while the waxed comes in a safari like brown and green. The caps are all hand made in New York and come in different fitted sizes. They would do a classy dome justice whether you are just biking to the docks or to a business meeting. Superb: Visits Swrve

My 2nd stop in Los Angeles was Swrve. They are the go to cycling clothing company, especially for these cold Boston winters. I was able to tour where Muriel and Matt, the creators of Swrve, conceive, sew and ship out their clothing line.
(Sorry the photo is out of focus guys. Guess the camera can’t keep it’s eyes off the Swrve merchandise either!) 
It’s amazing what can happen a couple of stories up in a tiny office building. At Swrve headquarters, packed in were bolts of fabric, thread, sowing machines, drafting tables, computers, and aisles filled with boxes of merchandise. Matt showed me some new fabrics that he has just picked up himself for their new cycling caps. The new caps are very classy, consisting of flannels, houndstooth, and classic suit patterns. One of the cycling caps even has a cashmere mix for the discerning cyclist.
(The cashmere cap is on the left. I would definitely pick one up.)


They are always coming out with new fabrics and cuts, which is why I am not surprised that they have to keep expanding. I was able to get a sneak peak at some of the new prototypes, which I’m sure will be amazing once they finally are produced.
