We have been getting a lot of questions about which sizes we have in stock so I did a little inventory to let you know. I’ll try to keep this updated with the current inventory. If you want to order one just call the shop or shoot us an email. You can pay over the phone or we can send you a paypal invoice. Shipping is $50 in the lower 48 US states. Ben and his Charge Scissor

Ben came to us today with a problem: his bike got run over while locked up on the side walk and he needed a new one. As a bike messenger and Boston Bike Messenger Association Vice President, obviously a bicycle is not only a means of transportation and a friend; it’s a necessity.

“I would borrow my friend’s bikes, but they were all custom, really nice bikes, I couldn’t ride how I normally do,” said Ben.

While Ben’s Budd frame is being repaired, he wanted a solution that was his.

That’s when he saw the Charge Scissor frame.

He was attracted to the frame for a variety of reasons.

“It looks nice, and I wanted something I could ride downtown and really beat on. I can go down stairs without a worry!”

Ben took it out for a test spin and loved the geometry.

“It’s fast and comfortable, I’m going to have a lot of fun with this!”

My Superb Sprint

After putting in a bunch of miles on our Sprint Prototype I finally decided it was time to build myself one. I had one painted in sky blue metallic and I am really happy with how it turned out. The metallic flake is very understated but when the sun hits it, it really shines! I decided on black components to offset the light hue of the frame and I think the contrast really works, and it helps the gum wall tires pop. I have been commuting on it a few days now and I am super stoked with it. I went with some larger than average tires because of the number of horrible roads on my commute and the stiff frame and larger tires really work well to give an efficient buy comfortable ride. To fit the larger tires I used the standard brake hole fork, but had it plugged before it was painted. Well here is the components breakdown.

Jesse’s Superb Sprint

Jesse just picked up his Superb Sprint and took it back with him to LA to ride on the local Velodrome. He built it up with some nice components and used his skills for a little shoot. Jesse is a Pro Photographer and if you aren’t already you should follow his tumblr.

Hey internet,

We’ve been making a lot of posts about the Superb Sprint as of late (How could we resist, with all of the lovely custom builds that have been designed?)

This week we wanted to shine a little light on one of our other available frames, the 2012 Cinelli Mash Histogram:

Columbus Airplane Aluminum frame.

It comes with a Carbon/Aluminum (blades/steerer) fork and an integrated headset. The fork is drilled for a brake but then the hole is plugged and painted over, this allows a clean brakeless look, or it is easily drilled out to accept a front brake.

Uhm…hello gorgeous.

The frame is equipped with stainless steel drop outs that can be replaced if need be.

We still have them in sizes 50, 53 and 58. and can order in other sizes with in a few days. Stop by and feel how light and fabulous they are!

Spring has arrived as evidenced by this great shot of Tu Yuan’s Superb Sprint. His photography continues to inspire and there is nothing more inspiring to get out and ride than a beautiful spring day. Personally one of my favorite times of year when the winter chill is gone and the summer heat has yet to arrive. Make use of these days, before they are gone!
