Superb Sprint: by Tu Yuan

A little while ago I posted about Tu Yuan’s Superb Sprint Build. Well since then he has been shooting some amazing photos with it that are just way too good to pass up. Tu told me that of his 4 bicycles his Sprint is his favorite and I am stoked about the lens time he has been giving it! Here are a few of his shots and you can see the rest on his flickr.

Of course it is in one of our favorite shop colors and we couldn’t be more excited! Of course we had to take some obligatory glamour shots. We recently received our stack of Embrocation Vol 6 and were pretty excited seeing that it features our little bike shop as well as some other local cycling enthusiasts. Thanks to everyone who came out to Bella Biciclette and a special thanks to everyone who competed in the Hot Bike contest.  Participants in the Hot Bike contest received a free cycling cap from Bianchi.  Winners of the contest are as follows:

Superb presents: “Bella Biciclette” TOMORROW Sat 8pm-10pm

Please everyone remember to RSVP for our event “Bella Biciclette” that is taking place at our shop this Saturday from 8pm-10pm.  Our 2nd annual Hot Bike contest should be a huge success as the weather looks perfect for tomorrow evening and we have tons of prizes rolling into the shop from some of our favorite brands: Brooks, Colnago, Cinelli, Bianchi, Swrve, Soma, Mission Workshop, Velo Orange, and Geekhouse!  Remember it is only $5 to enter the contest and all types of bikes are allowed unless the bike won a prize at last years contest!  We also have a super limited Bella Biciclette t-shirt currently being printed over at the Wndrlust Studio and will be on sale at the event.
Also we will be closing the shop an hour early on Saturday (5pm) in order to prepare for the show.

Superb Presents: “Bella Biciclette” Nov 13th 8pm-10pm

Superb Bicycle is proud to present Bella Biciclette, an exhibition of beautiful vintage bicycles from the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s.    Expect to see bicycles from Colnago, De Rosa, Rossin, Takhion, Eddy Merckx and even a Cinelli Laser.  All bicycles and frames at the show will be available for purchase.  Please RSVP by emailing RSVP@SuperbBicycle.com with your name in the subject line.   Beverage and light appetizers will be provided and formal dress is suggested.   RSVP will be required for entry and remember we have limited space inside our shop so there might be a line to get in, *hint* arrive early!
If you are a collector, or very interested in purchasing one of these unique bicycles please let us know in your RSVP as we will be having a special early showing for seriously interested buyers.
Last years “Hot Bike” contest was such a success that we will be throwing another one this year.  We will have categories such as: Best Paint Job, Most Aero, Most Original, and Best Vintage Style.  Bring your hottest bike as long as it didn’t place in last years competition.  This years judging will be by attendees of the show so everyone can vote! The winners will get prizes from some of our favorite brands and entry into the contest is only $5. 
Please be respectful of our neighbors and no outside drinks will be permitted in the shop.
