Howard’s Superb Sprint

Howard just finished building his Superb Sprint and shot me over the photos, I gotta say it looks great. Campy Pista wheels and Record cranks just look amazing on there! Howard will be racing his Sprint in the LA area so keep an eye out!

Fat Chance: Yo Eddy Race Bike!

We have an amazing Vintage Fat Chance Race Bike for sale in the shop. This one of a kind bike was built custom for Heidi back in 1990. Heidi was on the Fat City Race team and is also the founder of NEMBA. WOW!! She decided it is time to let this one move on, so now is your chance to own a piece of cycling history! This beautiful Somerville, MA built bike comes with a full prototype Campagnolo Mountain groupo. This was before Campy ever released their short lived Euclid Mountain Group and would be a great investment in itself. Add to that all the small custom details to this bike, like the snake wrapping around the brake noodle on the stem and the many dinosaur logos and you have yourself one very awesome collectors item! The frame measures 17″ center to top on the seat tube and 21.75″ top tube effective. We are asking $2000 but will consider all offers.

Bold Sprints March 24th @ Goodlife

We have another round of Bold Sprints happening this month at the Goodlife in Downtown Boston. As usual we will be sponsoring the event alongside Arc-en-ciel, PBR, Geekhouse, Holdfast, Seagull Bags, The DIG and the Fix Fix Fix with DJ Alfredo and myself on the decks. If you have already come out you know how much fun it is and if you haven’t you should really do yourself a favor and come check it out for yourself. Superb Bicycle Snow Race: Results!

Thanks to everyone who braved the storm to come out and ride in what I consider the most fun riding conditions of the year. We were thoroughly impressed with how quickly the racers made it from Superb to Cambridge Bicycle and back considering the amount of snow on the road, gusting gail force winds and missing manhole covers!

Top Three finishers were
1st Ben 14:55 $75
2nd Kurt 15:50 $35
3rd Cait 20:35 $20

I’ll update the rest of the list when I get it but I sadly forgot it in the shop.

Snow Race Part 2: Blizzard Man! TONIGHT @ 11:30

We are throwing another snow race tonight to celebrate the first big snow in Boston and to show the snow who’s the boss. Come over to Superb around 11:30 with your fastest bike and race from Superb to Cambridge Bicycle and back using whichever course you choose. The Blizzard Man race will start promptly at MIDNIGHT. Helmets and lights strongly recommended. 1st place receives a $75 gift card to Superb or Cambridge, 2nd place gets $35, and 3rd gets $20
