Gavin has been in NYC all winter and his bike hasn’t seen much love. He brought it into to try to de-grime the NYC off it it and return it to its former glory. After a couple hours of bench time and a complete tear down/degrease/rebuild later this bridgestone is ready for many more miles!
It is that time of year when we change to our Winter Hours. We will still be open everyday of the week but 1 less hour per day.

Steph brought in her pup Danzig to hang out with us. He has been the ideal shop dog, greeting all the customers and being on his best behavior. He even helped out with some of our computer work.
We had a great visit with the Blue Lug crew this afternoon. It was awesome to meet people running a similar business half way around the world.
We hooked them up with a couple Superb caps which ended with them buying a bunch to take back to Japan to sell at Blue Lug, so if you are in their neighborhood stop by and pick one up!

They gave us some rad blue lug stickers which will go to the first customers to stop by and ask for them.
If you’ve spent some time around the shop, you might have met Nao; sculpture, designer and all around nice guy. He has made other great products we have for sale in the shop such as custom chainrings and top tube protectors, now this renaissance man has turned his attentions towards building beautiful, beautiful frames.
He stopped by the shop this week to build up his first fillet brazed road bike frame.
