Like it? Love it? Lock it up!
The weather has finally come around, and we here in Boston are finally bringing out the sun dresses, cut offs, and long bike rides.
Unfortunately with this influx of people and bicycle motion, also comes an influx of bicycle thefts.
The past few weeks several people have come into the shop, saying they were in the market for a bike due to a bicycle being stolen.
We here at Superb want to stress the importance of LOCKING UP YOUR BIKES. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!
Look at that variety of locks!!
For the record, the Palmy U-locks in the foreground are super lightweight aluminum SECONDARY locks or locks to be used only for ERRANDS OF RELATIVELY SHORT DURATION DURING THE DAYTIME. These locks are aluminum, and while super cute, and fun they are not strong enough to be left as the only defense for a bicycle in Boston late at night for an extended period of time.
