We are getting closer to having the interior finished every day, soon we will start on the store front. But we are still open despite the haggard appearance from the outside, come on in!
Today was another great day, lots of customers coming in and hanging out in the space. People love lounging in the fainting couch, sipping on amp.
The new Vittoria 1976 shoes have been flying off the shelf so if you have been thinking about grabbing a pair don’t wait!

We are in the middle of our soft opening. Lots of people are been stopping by the shop thoroughly impressed with the transformation, and just a few hours ago we broke the Superb Aerospoke Virginity by selling our first Aerospoke. The interior is about 90% finished, there is still some finishing to do and we still need to construct the fitting room. And then we get to tackle the exterior….
We are planning our grand opening to be in a few weeks, but if you can’t wait, stop by now!

The 2009 NACCC has started here in Boston and it’s great to see all the new out of town faces out on the streets. I was busy working over at Superb on the renovation for most of the day and we were getting a lot of visitors stopping by to scope out the place. We met people from all over, some just checking out the shop, others who were getting ready for the main event by checking out all the checkpoints. Later in the evening I rode over a few blocks to the 4th wall project where the Courier art show is currently hung, to mingle and check out the art. It is a rather impressive show, definitely worth checking out. I hear it should be up for the next couple weeks, so if you are around, stop by. Word is I will be spinning at the Harpers Ferry NACCC Party tomorrow night, so hopefully I’ll see everyone there!

The renovation is getting super close to completion. We are a little behind schedule as all renovations tend to be, but it looks like we will be soft opening next week. The whole shop is starting to take shape and is getting everyone so excited.
People keep walking by and saying “oh the bike shop is gone, what kind of restaurant is this going to be” seriously. My favorite conversation went like this, word for word, not kidding, it was a couple walking by, the girl says, “oh the bike shop is closed”, what is going in, the guy says, “a restaurant”. Not “I think a restaurant”, but he somehow knew it was a restaurant for sure. I think we are going to have to start serving food or people are going to be super disappointed, unless they enjoy the taste of phil grease like us.
