Over the past week or so we’ve been getting a lot of calls for Bianchi‘s Super Pista framesets.

WHICH BRINGS US TO THE NEXT SECTION OF THE BLOG POST: The challenge.

This afternoon I picked a variety of items at random from around the shop and decided to see exactly HOW utilitarian a size large roll top Freight bag could be.

The bags are known for their extraordinary ability to fit oblong-shaped boxes and items inside almost effortlessly.

“I have to drive my car for work but cycling has become a release. I love just riding around by myself for hours and blowing off steam. I don’t really know many people in the ‘cycling scene’ so to speak, so I tend to do most of my rides by myself. We have a pretty good mix of hills and flat terrain if that makes sense, it makes riding around more dynamic and fun.”

How he got involved in cycling:

” I moved to the city three years ago and my brother built up a 58 cm (way way way too big) bicycle with a coaster break for me, and told me to ride it. I didn’t have a car so it was my only means of transportation. Two weeks later I switched to fixed and I’ve been riding a fixed gear ever since.”

Advice to everyone who is just getting into riding:

“Hey, new cyclists: don’t cheap out on f-ing parts, ever. You might think you’re saving money and it’s smart but it’s not going to. If you’re going to build up a bike take your time, ride a beater around/loan a bike from a friend until you’ve got enough dough to just go out to the nines. Just do it.”

Justin is completely and totally off of the cyber radar. So if you see him around (usually riding as fast as he can up and down Commonwealth Avenue) just say hi!!
