We did a little Campagnolo Headset installation into a Cinelli Laser Track Frameset today. No mistakes allowed!

Wei Wei’s Linus Dutchi

Wei Wei has been slightly upgrading her Linus Dutchi ever since she purchased it last year and she finally has it to the point where she allowed me to photograph it. She really dialed it in and all the changes really tie the bike together into a super classy commuter. The Hammered fenders are made by Velo Orange and look great on almost everything. Her boyfriend Justin who is a woodworker built her the custom crate for the back so she doesn’t have to sling her bag over her shoulder. The stitch on leather grips are a small addition that still makes a big impact on the elegance of the bike. Classic Lights made by Soma make it safe to ride at night while looking great at the same time. The Brooks B67s is the perfect saddle for an upright bike like this and Wei Wei says it makes the bike so comfortable to ride making it her go to bike on most days. Justin’s Superb Sprint

Justin purchased the very first Superb Sprint last year and while he stopped in the shop yesterday I borrowed it for a little reunion photo shoot. He has been riding his Sprint around Boston all Winter and it still looks GREAT!

Justin’s is the only one we have built up so far with a carbon fork.

Mission Workshop: Spring Re-Stock

We just got a new batch of bags in from Mission Workshop including the limited edition Waxed Canvas Rucksack in 3 colors.

We also filled in the super popular Vandal and Rambler expandable bags that carry everything you could ever need for your daily rides and commutes.  I have even used my Vandal extensively for travel over the past year and it has been an amazing companion on planes and trains fitting into over head compartments but still being able to carry the essentials for a week away.

Bike for Sale: Customized by 3RRR

Nao from 3RRR and Tomii Cycles brought in this great city bike to sell on consignment. He built it up for his wife but it ended up not being small enough (even though it is a 45cm) so he is going to be building her a custom frame instead. He put a lot of great details on this bike and it would make someone a wonderful commuter or around town bike. Asking price is $1200, much less than he has in the bike and it is in basically like new condition.  Should fit some one who is between 4’11″ and 5’5″.  Stop by the shop to check it out.
