The new issue of Urban Velo has arrived in the mail. Since it’s free, we have a hard time holding on to them for not just a week, but sometimes even a day. This issue features the LA bike scene, Pelizzoli, Greg Ugalde, photos of Shanghai, and the usual bike reviews and rider gallery.
We had already gotten our shipment of the 2012 Fuji line up in, but somehow the white ones had slipped by us till now! From an all black color scheme now to an all white color scheme. I don’t know if Fuji knows that they are creating a “good vs. evil” or a “dark vs. light” theme here, but we like it. The 2012 Fuji Feather in white has the same specifications as the black ones in our previous post. We have to admit that the white ones are always a little harder to come by so if you are feeling extra “good” today, you better fly down fast.

Were getting bombarded with the new 2012 line up! The new 2012 SE Lagers have arrived this year in Gold. SE has put some nice touches on the new Lager with a cut out chain ring and gold risers reminiscent of BMXs since that’s where their roots first began. The Lager is great for those looking for a more causal ride. With a relaxed geometry and riser bars, the Lager has a less aggressive and more comfortable ride. Equip with brakes, freewheel and cog this is a great bicycle for someone who is getting back into riding or looking to go fixed.

2012 is here and so is the new Fuji line up. We have new editions of old favorites which includes the Feather and Classic. This year these guys are coming all sleek and blacked out. The Fuji’s have always been and still are one of the most affordable complete track bikes any cyclist can buy.
The 2012 Fuji Classic is set up fixed on a flip flop hub. It comes equip with front and rear breaks unlike some past years. One of the more affordable bikes for someone who is looking to start investing into bicycling. Free of crazy paint jobs or unnecessary embellishment, the Classic is simple and clean for anyone who is looking for a no frills bike. This is also a great choice for the shorter ladies and gents out there. This size run comes down beneath your average 49cm cut off all the way to 43cm.

The 2012 Fuji Feather is styled to take you back to the golden days of cycling. This year it’s looking a little tougher completely blacked down to the components with just a hint of white decals. Equip with a quill stem and fluted seat post, it’s reminiscent of old Campagnolo components. It is visually appealing, but is still practical. With breaks, a cog, and freewheel already installed, the Feather is set up for any rider, single speed or fixed.

Be sure to stop in and have your choice of our full size run before things start slimming out and if you do pick one up, be sure to get some good lights for night riding. Black is sexy, but also dangerous (at night).
We were psyched when Duc came in and wanted our last matte black Super Pista. Sorry ladies and gents, it’s official, we’re sold out of black! However Celeste and White are still available!

Tom laid everything out nice and purdy before we began. EAI Cobra crank set, Origin 8 Attak wheelset, Cadence single straps, MKS toe cages, I bet you can’t wait to hit the Boston pavement running. AND SO IT BEGINS.

We couldn’t just do a “in front of the shop” picture, so we took this majestic steed over to back bay and snapped a few shots.

Derriere shot.

Head on with the headbadge. So psyched that you’re psyched Duc! See you around!
