While most of our custom builds are constructed in the shop, one of our customers has chosen to customize his bike over an extended period of time.
Meet Dave.

Dave has been coming into our shop since it opened. Over the two years, he’s accumulated quite the assortment of components from us.

Fuji track pro, Thomson stem and seat post, neon green Aerospoke, Superb Chain ring, Velocity Polka Dot Deep V (with a purple Phil Wood hub mind you)…needless to say, Dave’s bike is probably one of the most noticeable and unique bikes cruising around Boston, which is precisely what he was going for.

Detail of the Thomson stem.
What’s next for Dave’s unorthodox build, you ask?
A coaster brake. No, we’re not kidding. Stay tuned for more pictures of this bicycle’s metamorphosis!!

A Bike Tom (our mechanic) and I built last year was up on Bike Snob today as an image in his friday Quiz.

We are in the middle of our soft opening. Lots of people are been stopping by the shop thoroughly impressed with the transformation, and just a few hours ago we broke the Superb Aerospoke Virginity by selling our first Aerospoke. The interior is about 90% finished, there is still some finishing to do and we still need to construct the fitting room. And then we get to tackle the exterior….
We are planning our grand opening to be in a few weeks, but if you can’t wait, stop by now!

I think Aerospoke is pulling some kind of trickery here?? hahahahah
