We almost forgot to add this event to our calender for this week! The Boston Bike Messenger Association (BBMA) is throwing a criterium as a benefit to send Boston messengers to compete in the North American Cycle Courier Championships (NACCC) in Richmond, VA this year. It is $10 race entry fee and there will be t-shirts for sale. The race will be a figure 8 criterium, Australian style. For those that don’t know what an Australian criterium is then you’ll just have to see for yourself. The race will be on a set course in Winthrop Sq. Downtown Boston starting at 9:30pm this Friday May 18th. Come out to watch, race, or just support your local bike messengers!
Come out kids for one of the first alley cats of this spring sponsored by Superb! Prizes galore!
The date is PI. 3. 14.10. Registration starts at 2PM in the Cambridge Commons off of Harvard Sq. $5 entry fee with a helmet kids, without it is $7. So be safe and frugal. Race takes off at 3.14PM on the dot. Afterparty TBA! We will keep you posted!
It is finally here. You don’t want to miss this one. There are going to be tons of prizes, and you don’t even need to necessarily be the fastest to win. Everyone should race this one, even if you are new to races, and don’t forget about the BBQ and After party!
We are getting closer to the Katamari Alleycat. Tons of sponsors are jumping on board and it looks like the after party events are gonna be awesome, so definitely plan on making it to this one!

BBQ: spot TBA (think BEACH..we think.) 6:00PM – 9:00PM – FREE for racers, $5 for everyone else. ALL YOU CAN EAT. we will be awarding the prizes for the winners of the race and also holding bicycle-specific games.
