We’ve been making a lot of posts about custom builds lately. It really, really has been the season.

A testament: we took out the trailer to do a post office run. Thanks so much for your support guys!
We just finished up Holden’s Custom Geekhouse Road Bike. Holden ordered the frameset through us a little while back and after the frame was finished over at Geekhouse, Tom built up the bike here in the shop. It definitely came out great and Holden is super stoked to be out and riding it. Holden chose to build it up with an Enve fork and handle bars, Sram Red Group, and Thomson Stem and Seatpost. He also went with Pink Chris King components for the Hubs, Bottom Bracket, and Headset. The Bike really pops against the overcast sky of Boston today! Congrats on your new ride Holden and enjoy it!
On another note I was almost arrested while photographing this bike. As I was hunched over trying to get the money shot a police officer came up to me from behind and tapped me on the shoulder, I quickly turned around and that is when he noticed my camera. He originally thought that I was trying to steal the bike. I was actually pretty stoked that the cops are actually looking for bike thieves!

Bob just finished building up his Superb Marcato and it turned out proper! We installed the Campagnolo Record headset for him and he finished it up with a Campagnolo Veloce group and some Reynolds wheels. He is ready for some great spring and summer rides!

Mike came to us with a unique request: a road bike with bullhorns. He worked with Tom on the idea and they ended up using a Soma Smoothie steel frame with downtube shifters.

Soma Smoothie build up with Shimano 105 components.

A little Soma headbadge action with detail of Nitto bullhorns and Paul levers.
Just goes to show you–anything goes if you’ve got the vision and the drive to make your dream bike come true.
We have a beautiful slightly used Guerciotti Road Bike for sale with Campy 10 speed Components. Size is 52cm square. Stop by and check it out, great deal at $1500.
